Get a Sport Pilot License,
Anyone Can Do It

Getting a Sport Pilot License or properly a certificate, is a fairly easy thing to do. It does take some determination. It does take some time. It does take some money. It does take some - ok, a lot of patience. But it can be done by anyone.

The FAA has, believe it or not, come out with a set of regulations that makes it easier, yes easier to get a pilot's certificate. They have streamlined the process to allow fewer hours, a limited number of specific maneuvers and along with it less cost. There are some restrictions for Sport Pilots, however, they really don't limit the average guy from participating in fun flying to a great extent.
